My
Stormovik was constructed using the CMK Il-2m3 cockpit detail set.
The kit has many fit
problems around the nose and wing, but with careful work an
excellent result can be achieved.
The kit was finished in
Model Master Russian WWII colours matching to the colour photographs
in the Wings and Wheels publication.
The model depicts an
aircraft of the 566 ShAP at Leningrad in the summer of 1944.
